Job Description: 

Accenture is looking for high-calibre technologists who will design, develop, implement and support networking solutions within the customer’s requirements. Responsibilities include, among others, supporting sales teams in solution development, managing an internal matrix team to scope and price solutions, leading customers through the design process by leveraging a wide range of Accenture services.  Working directly with internal Accenture domain architects, partner architects, client architects, and Accenture project teams to design a robust solution that exceeds client expectations. The ideal candidate will have development experience in scoping, shaping, modeling infrastructure services architectures, across consulting, managed and outsourcing in customer-facing roles. 

Responsible for designing enterprise networks, including local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), cloud, SDN and security technologies. Interpret and translate client requirements into a solution that can be delivered from a standard set of offerings.  

Key responsibilities: 

  • Operate as a lead network architect for network, datacentre and cloud transformation opportunities. 
  • Translate business requirements into high level technical requirement in context of technology and customer trends. 
  • Review RFPs and RFIs and prepare a high-quality response with attention to detail. 
  • Business case development and crafting the transformation roadmap. 
  • Engage with client’s senior executives in network and security domain to develop the network and security architecture for a large enterprise. 
  • Develop technical design documentation such as high-level design, low level design, bill of materials (BoM) and configuration templates. 
  • Act as a technical authority, actively participate in planning and execution of implementations or migrations. 
  • Maintain knowledge of evolving technology trends and apply those to develop innovative solutions approaches to deliver value for our clients. 
  • Willingness to travel with flexibility to work in global time zone.  

Key Requirements: 

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in enterprise network architecture on a large infrastructure transformation projects involving enterprise networking, data centre/cloud.    
  • 10+ years of experience in design and implementation using skills in routing, switching and other data centre technologies such as Cisco Nexus, ACI, VMware NSX. 
  • Design and implementation of next generation firewalls from leading vendors such as Cisco, Juniper or Palo Alto. 
  • Design and implementation of cloud connectivity solution for Azure, AWS, Google cloud platform. 
  • Strong exposure to multi-vendor technologies in enterprise network with experience to design and implement them. 
  • Knowledge of cloud, including AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform. 
  • Strong documentation and presentation skills with a focus on quality.  
  • Project management and ITIL knowledge with focus on change management.  
  • Australian citizenship is required to be eligible for an Australian Government security clearance  

Supplementary Requirements: 

  • Experience in WAN optimization and load balancing. 
  • Knowledge of cloud exchange providers such as Equinix. 
  • Knowledge of wireless and collaboration technologies.  
  • Hold industry technology certifications, such as: CCNP, CCDP, CCIE, AWS, Azure, ITIL, TOGAF 
  • Working knowledge of MS Project
