The ideal candidate will:
Have a proven track record of working in the Health sector (e.g. public health service, private hospitals, public payers and/or private health insurers)
Have a strong health Management Consulting background, with broad skills to adapt to diverse roles, and proven hands-on experience delivering consulting engagements in health clients
Hands-on experience could stem from either stand-alone, short-term Consulting engagements (e.g. customer experience strategy, business case definition, strategy definition, operating model design) or consulting work delivered as part of project delivery / systems implementation (e.g. business process design, change coaching, agile change management, performance measurement)
Assist in building our health Consulting practice (e.g. developing high quality health related proposals, building client relationships, identifying and capturing ongoing sales opportunities).
Lead teams of people, including management and clinicians to deliver projects from beginning-to-end, with applicants demonstrating experience leading teams and a proven track record of outcome delivery
Have the spirit, ability and desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment - demonstrating leadership, innovation, creativity and high personal standards
High degree of understanding of the Australian Healthcare landscape
Ability to develop, maintain and influence strong internal and client relationships
Confident and effective communicator (written and oral), people development and interpersonal skills
Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
Commercial acumen with ability to tailor recommendations to enhance effectiveness and identify client development opportunities
Excellent project management and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Ability to successfully navigate complexity and ambiguity
Excellent team player
Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare Management Consulting
Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
Bachelor Level Education minimum
