Job Description


Understand, develop and manage Accenture's Australia and New Zealand’s safety, security and environment strategy and operations within ANZ, working with appropriate leadership to mobilise activities aligned to business requirements and demand.



  • Physical Security – strategy, fitouts, operations (including systems) and assurance
  • Safety – emergency/crisis management and business continuity, and health and safety.

  • Acts as SME for safety, security and environment matters for the Geographic Unit (ANZ) and local representative in global planning and operations.
  • Manage Safety, Security and Environment team, compliance and offshore support team.
  • Lead and coach teams to provide and deliver agreed safety, security & environmental plans in line with ANZ strategy and objectives/targets.
  • Deliver the crisis and continuity management program (strategy and operations) for a geographically bounded portfolio of assets. This will entail leading annual business continuity assessments and ensuring that potential risks are identified, assessed, prioritised and mitigated.
  • Supports building/leases providing risk assessments, design reviews and provide physical security recommendations.
  • Delivery (security fit outs) and asset management of physical and electronic access control and surveillance mechanisms: Security guards, Proximity card readers, CCTV systems.
  • Internal stakeholder management, including but not limited to HR and Legal.
  • External stakeholder management with vendors to ensure timely implementation/ completion of projects.
  • Administration and maintenance of current service agreements.
  • Definition of local security standards/policies.
  • Management of compliance (ISO 14001, ISO 45001/4801) against standards and legislative requirements, including records management.
  • Project management of life safety, security and environment initiatives, including budget forecasting, management of costs and timeframes.
  • Service delivery management and reporting.
  • Utilise global standards, reporting methodologies, risk management and other processes and toolkits as well as regional/tactical responses for projects that are aligned with our Workplace methodologies and respond to local demographics, work processes, local regulations
  • Manage and ensure consistent application of human resource processes including career development, salary review, recruiting and performance management within area of responsibility and in accordance with local legislations and rules.

  • Work closely with the ANZ Workplace Leadership and external partners/consultants.
  • Reporting to: ANZ Workplace Lead Senior Manager
  • Stakeholders: ANZ GS Lead, ANZ Workplace lead and other corporate/GS functions and Internal clients and supplier partners.


  • 10+ years’ experience
  • Compliance with local regulatory requirements and expectations experience
  • ISO 14001 experience
  • Physical security certifications (preferred)
