Job Description


Accenture Interactive is the leading digital transformation agency in the world that can deliver true end-to-end digital services. We are looking for a strong Solution Architect who has strong strong web content, e-commerce and Digital Marketing skills and is responsible for innovating, developing and delivering solutions for our clients. You should have hands on experience in defining strategy and planning, supporting and implementing transactional web sites built on leading content and e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate is expected to be able to work independently and, in a team, working in an agile environment. You will also need to have strong communication skills and be comfortable engaging daily with team members and key client stakeholders.


We are looking for someone who has passion and experience in designing and implementing with one or more major content systems (Adobe Marketing Cloud, Drupal, Contentful and Liferay) and who is keen to build and expand their skills within Cloud technologies- Azure and AWS.


  • Solution Architects play a critical role shaping, designing and successfully delivering integrated solutions for our clients.
  • Sell, assess, define, implement and/or support world-class technology architectures leveraging Content and Marketing Platforms, spanning simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level change programs.
  • Define, design and drive solutions leveraging assets and capabilities, enabling Accenture clients to lead the way throughout their digital transformational journey.
  • Guide the solution and key decisions of the program to ensure its success across multiple dimensions; Business, IT, Schedule, Cost and Integrity.
  • Engage with the client to lay the solution roadmap and explain the value
  • Collaborate with various parts of Accenture to bring the most relevant parts of our organization to the delivery.  

Key Skills

  • Can demonstrate a deep understanding of Solutioning experience with at least 5+ years Architecture experience from working with content and e-commerce systems (setting direction, managing teams, driving proposals and estimation)
  • Experience and interest in designing and implementing with one or more major content systems (Adobe Marketing Cloud, Drupal, Contentful, Sitecore and Liferay)
  • Experience and interest in designing and implementing with one or more major Digital Asset Management systems (Adobe, Aprimo, Bynder)
  • Experience and interest in designing and implementing with one or more major Marketing and Campaign Management systems (Adobe Campaign, Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Hybris Marketing Cloud)
  • Interest in designing and implementing with one or more major e-commerce systems (Cloud Craze, SAP Hybris, Oracle ATG, IBM Websphere, Demandware, Elastic Path, Magento)
  • Strong analytical skills- can find, understand and analyze things that are not obvious or lie behind the surface.
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Technologies- Azure and AWS
  • Be comfortable with and have a strong understanding of Digital Marketing Technologies and experience with content management, campaign management, social media, search, web analytics and behavioural targeting- (google analytics, adobe analytics, audience manager, google marketing cloud).
  • Strong understanding of Front End Frameworks- react.js, vue.js and angular and headless solutions
  • Experience working in projects with agile or traditional development methodologies and covering the full web development life cycle, including interactions with external creative agencies
  • You should be excited and have an interest in being a major contributor to the digital content, commerce and marketing practice at Accenture Digital in the Australia New Zealand region
  • Have a good understanding of driving web content, marketing and e-commerce solutioning, proposal creation and estimation work
  • Has previous experience with driving the creation of POVs and thought leadership

You Also:

  • Hold a University degree, ideally in a related field
  • Be a positive team player and have excellent presentation, communication (written and oral) and personal skills
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Confident with being a team member in both implementation projects as well as in business development and strategy engagements
  • Strong problem-solving skills, presentation and negotiations skills
  • Strong technical skills – Java, HTML, Java script, JSON, web analytics, content tagging, content optimisation, service-based architectures, REST, API gateways
  • Have Cross industry experience (beneficial) – Financial Services, Resources, Health & Public Services, Communications, and Media & Technology.
  • Demonstrate a passion for innovation and new idea generation
