Michael Scruggs is a Managing Director and the Applied Intelligence Practice Lead for Accenture Federal Services. He has 20 years of experience bringing data science and AI solutions to market. In his current role, Scruggs leads the Applied Intelligence team in delivering innovative solutions involving predictive analytics, machine learning (ML), Robotic Process Automation (RPA), and edge solutions.
He has extensive experience and demonstrated success in standing up and managing global sales teams, designing strategy and go-to market plans for selling Data Science/AI/Analytics solutions into line of business and executive suite customers. He possesses unique experience working with Sales and Offering organizations and advising Data Science and AI product development teams to ensure market viability and product alignment.
His prior experience includes founding and growing technology consulting practices for top consulting firms and software manufacturers. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware and an MBA in international marketing from Averett University. Scruggs was a 2021 Finalist for Washington Executive’s AI Executive of the Year and is a native of Bethesda, Maryland.
