The Role
Backend Development SMEs (Senior Analyst – Associate Manager)
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Be a SME and provide advice in terms of development and maintenance of all server-side network components.
Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, as well as preparing reports.
Keeping informed of advancements in the field of Node.js development.
Partner front-end developers on the integration of elements while ensuring optimal performance of the central database and responsiveness to front-end requests.
Designing customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
Recommending and implementing improvements to processes and technologies.
Qualifications
Familiar with Node.js and npm;
Experience with Node backend libraries and frameworks such as Koa, Express.js, Socket.io;
Experience with testing frameworks such as jest, mocha;
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation;
Experience with RDBMS;
Good to have skills:
Typescript;
NoSQL databases;
System integrations, e.g. via APIs, MQs;
Developing for cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, GCP, serverless);
SG Govt cloud environments (e.g. GPC, GCC);
.NET (C#), Ruby and/or Kotlin and associated ecosystems.
