While we are a global group, we go to market regionally. This role is for the Financial Services Infrastructure Lead for Southeast Asia. You will focus on three main pillars: Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC), Tokenization of Financial Assets, and Exchange/Infrastructure Modernization. You will be part of a successful regional team that has been leading the adoption of CBDC, Digital Assets and Tokenisation, and exchange modernization with central banks, banks, exchanges and other financial market infrastructure players.

This team has been responsible for some of the flagship CBDC and Digital Asset projects with top clients such as the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing (HKEX), Australia Stock Exchange (ASX), Bank of Thailand, Stock Exchange of Thailand, and Bursa Malaysia.

You would be joining a team who are passionate about driving the growth of the Blockchain and Multiparty Systems business in Southeast Asia. The successful candidate will help us expand and continue innovating at the forefront of tomorrow’s financial services industry working on exciting projects and proposals.

You Are

Passionate about shaping and transforming the financial markets of Southeast Asia. A good understanding of blockchain and distributed ledger technology with subject matter knowledge and industry expertise in financial services. Experience working with clients to unlock innovation through technology while managing a team in an agile and fast pace environment. You have excellent interpersonal, communication, and listening skills. You are a life-long learner and energized by solving new problems and transforming how our clients think.

The Work

You’ll often be:

Helping top-tier financial services clients transform their businesses to unlock value co-creating new solutions using blockchain, distributed ledger technology, and multi-party systems technology.

Supporting development of proposal responses and related discussions with clients, presenting a vision of the financial services industry of the future and developing innovative concepts/ideas.

Shaping solutions for our most complex client engagements and early adopters; coordinating across multiple teams to formulate an approach, to evaluate business cases, propose technology solutions, and lead implementation.

Increasing the firm’s revenues by driving sales for Accenture by working with industry and ecosystem players.

Building relationships with clients to raise Accenture’s profile as a long-term trusted advisor and partner.

A key participant in development Accenture’s perspective on emerging technology trends and their impact on the financial services industry.

Mentoring junior members of the Blockchain & Multiparty Systems team and grooming them for more responsibility.

You should have experience with some of the following:

Experience with blockchain or distributed ledgers.

Conveying and communicating complex scenarios and solutions in a simple, logical manner that addresses varying audiences.

Understanding business challenges and explaining how an offering and service provides value with an objective and independent point of view.

Working through organizational change, expanding ecosystem relationships, and developing/delivering creative solutions.

Insights on key methodologies, approaches, and market trends in the financial services industry.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years consulting and account management experience; preferably with large scale technology transformations and/or emerging technologies within financial services

  • Experience in selling and delivering Strategy / Consulting / Implementation Services

  • Demonstrated experience in solving complex client problems with a foundational understanding of core financial services challenges

  • Strong management presence as well as excellent presentation, speaking, and communication skills

Preferred Skills

  • Deep understanding of Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology

  • Rich experience in the financial services industry with in-depth industry expertise including industry/digital/technology trends

  • Demonstrate sustained client relations management experience at senior management level

  • Prior management consulting experience in the creation of proposals, resource planning, and roadmaps

  • Prior business technology background and/or strong interest in emerging technologies and how they impact businesses

  • Excellent team management and people development skills

  • Ability to interact effectively with multiple groups and geographies
