Role Summary:

The Procurement Solutions Architect position is a client-facing role that interprets and translates client requirements into a solution that can be configured from a standard set of offerings. This person is the single point of contact with responsibilities that include: 

  • Influencing deals 
    • Personally able to impact in winning the deal (directly interact with the client to influence)
    • Articulate a business outcome driven value proposal for the client / shaped a value tree with all dimensions (working capital improvement, cash improvement, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO reduction, growth & revenue generation, customer journey/value)
  • Solutions in the New
    • Outcome-based, transformational, Procurement as a Service, analytics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) Solutions
    • Build As-a-Service solution (flexibility, agility, consumption based model)
    • Disruptive and innovative, forward thinking and moving beyond what does exist today
    • Understand and translate buyer requirements into a standard solution offering deal approach, solution plan, proposal and cost estimate leveraging standard process methods, deliverables and the right collection of offerings
    • Prepare the spend and savings estimate, schedule, work plan, resource/sourcing plan  reviewed and supported by delivery teams
    • Collaborate as a key member of the sales team to represent the solution offering to the client buyer and other internal Accenture groups, and align the solution with final terms and conditions
    • Collaborate with the Service Architects (Product Directors) to plan and architect the overall delivery architecture and capabilities to support the service offerings
    • Sponsor/lead the initiatives to deploy new architecture & capabilities across the teams required for service offerings
    • Interface with the delivery organization/s to ensure effective transition, shape services, collaborate on clear solution assumptions, determine appropriate service delivery locations and related cost to deliver
    • Ensure delivery architecture is implemented according to policies/standards and solution is benchmarked externally
    • Maintain a keen understanding of marketplace intelligence (trends, competition etc.) in order to provide market leading perspectives, emerging trends, tools and techniques that can be effectively utilized to develop and promote business

    Basic Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Procurement Consulting 
    • Bachelors' Degree

    Professional Skills Requirements:

    • Experience leading teams
    • Process Documentation and/or process training experience
    • Ability to Handle very complex solutions 
    • Strong understanding in deal commercials
    • Ability to understand & apply technology in architecting a solution
    • Deep content expertise (Estimating Sourcing Savings, Procurement Operations, Analytics)
    • Ability to articulate a strong differentiation story in an offering
    • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment
    • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
    • Desire to work in an information systems environment 
    • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
    • Excellent leadership and management skills
