Job Description


A Consultant or Senior Consultant in Accenture Media Management practice will be an individual with significant media experience gained with a media agency. 


He/she will lead project teams to provide media analysis and consultancy advice to a number of large advertiser clients across South East Asia (SEA), focusing on media optimization. This will result in substantial media value improvements and savings which can be objectively measured and a source of major strategic advantage to our clients. 


Typical Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage, drive and lead a number of blue chip client relationships;
  • Interact primarily with senior client and agency personnel helping them optimize their marketing investments;
  • Transform client vision into concrete business requirements;
  • Contextualize the benefits of better media management;
  • Liaise with a number of media agency management working with them on client analysis;
  • Work with day-to-day media and modelling teams, as well as working within cross-functional marketing teams;
  • Liaise with off-shore support and local teams, and train and develop junior staff;
  • Control quality;
  • Budgeting and account planning;
  • Provide the delivery to clients in the efficient and effective manner. 

Solid Media Experience and Expertise

  • A strong grounding in the SEA media landscape with, ideally, a good knowledge of TV, Print, OOH and Digital
  • Profound understanding of media strategy development and processes, trading practices, terminology and issues
  • Either planning/buying experience and/or analytical and research background
  • An ability to see beyond the "numbers"

Strong client handling skills

  • Understanding of our clients media business in the general context ofmarketing;
  • Ability to establish credibility with clients, act and be perceived as business advisor and partner
  • An enthusiasm for presenting to both large and small audiences


High intelligence and drive

  • Achievement, drive, initiative and adaptability;
  • Strong degree score in analytical content, for example mathematics, statistics, economics etc;
  • Analyses and problem solving skills;
  • Ability to handle critical situations;
  • Ability to lead a team and to handle senior level conversations with client and agencies;
  • Self-motivated and driven to build, and grow business


Relevant educational background

  • A graduate in statistics, economics or other numerate disciplines, ideally combined with broader marketing education and/or equivalent experience.

Position Requirements

  • International Travelling: 30% - 50%
