Job Description


A professional at this position level within Accenture has the following responsibilities:

  • Identifies, assesses and solves complex business problems for area of responsibility, where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
  • Interacts with senior management at a client and/or within Accenture on matters where they may need to gain acceptance on an alternate approach
  • Has some latitude in decision-making
  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments
  • Decisions have a major day to day impact on area of responsibility
  • Manages large - medium sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 full life cycle BPC implementations, including project planning, estimation
  • Implementation and delivery experience, which should include at least two full project lifecycles on SAP BPC 10.0 or 10.1
  • Excellent insights to functional and technical aspects of SAP Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC) 10.0 and 10.1.
  • Functional expertise in Financial Consolidation, Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Financial Consolidation and Reporting Process knowledge.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Planning and/or Financial Consolidations technical solution experience
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and standards e.g. IFRS.
  • In-depth experience on design and configuration of BPC expected.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Preference of 1 year of hands on HANA migrations or HANA implementation
  • ECC experience preferred
  • Ability to design and interpretation of reporting architecture for SAP BI, understanding of SAP ECC/ Non-SAP data structures and interfaces to SAP BI / S/4 HANA BPC administration experience
  • Exposure to other EPM tools like Cognos, Hyperion or other consolidation tools like SEM/BW-BCS and process integration between financial and planning scenarios would be beneficial.
