Delivery Lead & Techno-Functional Manager – Veeva R&D (all genders)
We are looking for a wider range of Veeva R&D Specialists, ranging from as senior as Delivery Leads with Veeva Vault R&D implementation experience to Techno Functional Consultants with Vault configuration knowledge who would like to strategically shape the digital transformation of Clinical , regulatory, Quality and Safety landscapes – and be responsible for global IT programs that accelerate life-saving treatments to market.
Your mission
As an IT Delivery Lead or Techno-Functional Consultant, you will take overall responsibility for the most critical pillars of the pharmaceutical lifecycle: Clinical (CTMS), Regulatory (RIM), Quality (QMS) and Pharmacovigilance (Safety). You will manage complex end-to-end transformations, lead international configuration teams, and position yourself as a Trusted Advisor for R&D digitalization.

What to expect
Drive Strategic Implementation & End-to-End Delivery: Lead high-impact transformation projects for global R&D organizations, taking full ownership of the project lifecycle—from initial roadmap to final validation.
Architect & Configure Industry-Leading Vault Solutions: Techno functional consultants will conduct high-level workshops to capture complex functional requirements. As a techno functional consultant You will directly configure Vault lifecycles, workflows, and data models for Safety, RIM, and CTMS.
Orchestrate Program Governance: Delivery leads will take responsibility for project management activities, including timeline and resource planning, budget tracking, and forecasting to ensure "on-time, on-budget" delivery.
Position Yourself as a Trusted Advisor: Work closely with customer business and IT stakeholders to design solutions that adhere to industry best practices (GxP, IDMP) and align with specific customer needs.
Lead Global, Multidisciplinary Teams: Manage communication between project teams, customers, and internal stakeholders while mentoring junior consultants across the global organization.
Empower Organizations through Knowledge Transfer: Lead or contribute to training material creations, in some cases run train-the-trainer session, once the solution is validated to ensure high user adoption.
Shape the Future of the Veeva Ecosystem: Provide insights and recommendations to improve the solution, use of consolidated cross vault eco systems, working closely with master data governance and analytics teams to ensure our delivery models meet the changing needs of the industry.
Enable Business Growth: Contribute to customer presentations and Statements of Work (SoW) to support Services sales activities, translating technical Vault capabilities into compelling value propositions.
Qualifications
We are looking forward to this:

Degree in computer science, business informatics, engineering or life sciences-related disciplines

In-depth industry know-how in Pharma & Life Sciences (e.g. GxP environment, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory)

Deep Functional Expertise in at least one R&D domain:

Safety
-
RIM: Registrations, Submissions, Archival, IDMP standards.

CTMS: Study Startup, Site Management, Monitoring, eTMF integration.

Quality

Deep leadership experience in the end-to-end software delivery lifecycle as well as in the management of large, international programs

Experience in budget responsibility, governance structures, risk and stakeholder management at executive level

Architectural Mindset: Ability to design data models, lifecycles, and workflows within the Veeva Vault platform.

Communication: Strong stakeholder management skills with very good knowledge of German and English.
