As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This role requires guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software produced meets high benchmarks for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect, along with continuous evaluation and improvement of software processes to support organizational objectives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Mentor and support team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to align software development efforts with broader organizational strategies.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS).
- Strong expertise in software architecture design and implementation for custom solutions.
- Experience in managing and leading software development teams to deliver scalable and high-performance applications.
- Ability to define and enforce development standards and quality assurance processes.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Planning and Budgeting (EPBCS).
- A 15 years full time education is required.
