Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational needs and translating them into effective software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with operational goals and enhance overall efficiency. The engineer actively participates in refining application functionalities and adapting configurations to meet evolving business challenges, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance within the enterprise environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team and project scope.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment of project objectives and deliverables.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP EWM.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management processes and their integration with SAP Extended Warehouse Management.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP EWM modules to meet business requirements.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within SAP EWM environments.
- Familiarity with SAP integration techniques and data flow between SAP EWM and other SAP modules.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices in application design and deployment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP EWM.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
