Summary:
As a Quality Engineering Lead, a typical day involves guiding a team of quality engineers by coordinating multi-disciplinary planning and integrating various ecosystem components to enhance delivery speed and maintain high standards of quality throughout the application lifecycle. The role requires applying comprehensive business and functional insights to design and implement thorough testing strategies. Throughout the day, the lead monitors testing activities, manages defect resolution, and ensures that quality processes and methodologies are effectively applied to meet project goals and stakeholder expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Oversee the development and implementation of testing frameworks to ensure consistent quality standards.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams to align quality objectives with project timelines.
- Mentor junior team members to foster professional growth and enhance team capabilities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and testing lifecycle management.
- Experience in designing and executing comprehensive test plans and strategies.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex business requirements to develop effective testing solutions.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools to monitor and report testing progress.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues impacting quality and delivery.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
