Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Wireless WAN Engineer to lead operations, support, and implementation of enterprise Wireless WAN (LTE/4G/5G) solutions. This role involves managing large-scale deployments, troubleshooting network issues, and ensuring stable and secure connectivity across distributed sites. US business hours 8am CT to 5pm CT are the working hours for this role.

Key Responsibilities
Provide advanced (L3) operational support for Wireless WAN devices and connectivity (LTE/4G/5G).
Lead end-to-end implementation of WWAN solutions for branch, retail, and IoT environments.
Troubleshoot performance issues related to SIMs, antennas, APNs, signal quality, and carrier networks.
Configure and manage wireless routers, gateways, and VPN/security settings.
Work with telecom operators for SIM provisioning, APN support, and network issues.
Monitor WWAN performance using NMS tools and generate regular reports.
Support routing, failover, and integration with SD-WAN environments.
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and provide guidance to L1/L2 teams.
Participate in planning, optimization, and enhancement of the WWAN environment.

Required Skills
8–10 years of experience in Wireless WAN (LTE/4G/5G) operations and deployment.
Strong knowledge of cellular technologies (signal quality, RSRP/RSRQ/SINR, bands, antennas).
Hands-on experience with WWAN platforms (Cradlepoint, Cisco, Meraki, Sierra Wireless, Peplink, etc.).
Solid IP networking skills (routing, VPN, NAT, DHCP).
Experience working with telecom carriers for SIM/APN management.
Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, Cradlepoint CPCNA/CPCNP, Meraki CMSS, or equivalent.
Experience with automation (Python/API) and monitoring tools.
Exposure to SD-WAN and cloud VPN integrations.

Soft Skills
Strong ownership and problem-solving ability.
Clear communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and support critical incidents.
