Your Mission
As part of our M&A deal team, you support Accenture in sourcing and executing acquisitions across a variety of sectors and industries, primarily in the DACH region and occasionally beyond. You work closely with experienced M&A professionals and international colleagues, gaining exposure to a strong flow of transactions and opportunities to grow professionally from the outset.

Your Daily Work
- Analyze acquisition opportunities: Research potential acquisition targets and assess relevant financial and business information to support investment decisions.
- Build financial business cases: Develop financial models including synergy calculations, return analyses, and accretion/dilution analyses.
- Value potential targets: Perform company valuations and contribute financial insights throughout the transaction process.
- Coordinate due diligence: Support the organization and execution of due diligence processes while coordinating internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare investment decisions: Work closely with senior management at Accenture and acquisition targets and prepare investment cases for presentation to the Investment Committee.
Who You Are
- You have completed a degree in business, finance, accounting, or a comparable field and bring initial professional experience in M&A with live deal exposure, such as Corporate Finance Advisory, Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Corporate Development.
- You have strong knowledge of financial and investment analysis, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow analysis, as well as company valuation techniques.
- You are confident working with senior stakeholders and can communicate and present complex financial topics clearly.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint and have experience using AI tools, combined with curiosity to further develop AI-driven approaches.
- You communicate confidently in both German and English in a business environment.
