Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical vision and architectural framework of bespoke software projects. This role requires guiding teams through the entire lifecycle of software design and implementation, ensuring that development practices meet high standards. The position demands continuous alignment of technical solutions with evolving business goals, fostering collaboration among team members, and driving the delivery of scalable and efficient software products. The lead actively monitors project progress, addresses challenges, and facilitates communication across various stakeholders to maintain momentum and quality throughout the development process.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure consistency and quality.
- Mentor and support team members to enhance their technical skills and professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to integrate software components and optimize overall system performance.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Node.js, Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Strong experience in designing and implementing scalable server-side applications using Node.js.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud infrastructure and services, particularly within the Amazon Web Services ecosystem.
- Ability to architect solutions that ensure high availability, security, and performance.
- Familiarity with asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and RESTful API development.
- Experience with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Node.js.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
