Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business processes and application needs. This role requires engaging with various stakeholders to understand requirements and translating them into functional software solutions. The position demands continuous collaboration and iterative development to ensure that the applications align with organizational goals and provide effective support to business operations. The engineer spends time analyzing workflows, integrating components, and refining application features to enhance overall performance and usability.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
- Maintain and update existing applications to improve functionality and user experience.
- Document application designs, configurations, and changes to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
- Assist junior team members by providing guidance and support in technical tasks.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Palantir Foundry, MySQL, Python (Programming Language).
- Strong experience in application design and development using Palantir Foundry platform.
- Ability to write efficient queries and manage databases using MySQL.
- Competence in scripting and automation using Python to enhance application capabilities.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Capability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application performance.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Palantir Foundry.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
