Intelligent Consulting Hub (ICH) Resources Team is providing industry-specific business and technology consulting services to clients in Energy Downstream, Upstream, Fuel Retail and Utilities areas. Our Consultants have excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex things simply. They are experts in Data & Analytics projects, spanning likes of Data Strategy, Governance, Migration, Integration and Consolidation, Data Warehousing and Data Lake Implementation, Business Intelligence (BI) and Reporting. The most experienced talents lead and manage these projects, financials, and build relationships with Clients and cooperate with our delivery centers across the globe. THE WORK:  

You will partner with Clients in the Resources sector (Oil & Gas, Utilities, Chemicals, Mining) to shape and deliver AI enabled improvements —assessing business needs, defining high value opportunities, building value cases, supporting pilots, and helping Clients scale the right solutions across the organization. You’ll combine deep knowledge of your business domain with consulting methods and practical AI knowledge to make impact at scale and pace.. If you’ve already developed one or two pragmatic AI automations (e.g., document intelligence, conversational service, forecasting, scheduling, optimization, etc.), we want to talk.

Your work will include:

  • AI Use Case Discovery & Prioritization — conducting workshops, mapping processes, and identifying high impact AI and automation opportunities.

  • AI Enabled Process Improvement — shaping simple MVPs (e.g., document intelligence, agent based solutions, workflow automation) and supporting iterative pilots.

  • Business Analysis & Value Assessment — defining KPIs, estimating business impact, and supporting benefit tracking with stakeholders.

You will also have opportunities to step outside core AI work and contribute to a wide range of Accenture and Client initiatives.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED: 

  • A few years of experience working inside a business function within the Resources sector (Oil & Gas, Utilities, Chemicals, Mining or similar), with a proven track record of identifying, shaping, or delivering AI or automation use cases — workflow automation, document intelligence, forecasting, etc.  — and the ability to spot process inefficiencies and translate them into clear, actionable AI opportunities.
  • Working knowledge of modern AI technologies — including copilots, agents and Agentic AI patterns, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG), machine learning–enabled automation, low/no‑code AI tools, and out‑of‑the‑box AI platforms — with the ability to understand their purpose, strengths, limitations, and how to apply them effectively to real business problems.
  • Strong business data literacy in your industry domain — comfortable working with KPIs, dashboards, performance metrics, and identifying areas where AI could improve outcomes.
  • Strong interest in learning consulting methods — we will coach you on consulting skills, frameworks, and delivery practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal English skills (min. C1). Proficiency in an additional language — especially German or French — is a strong asset.

BONUS IF YOU HAVE:  

  • Hands-on experience across the full product or solution lifecycle — from PoV/MVP through pilot and go live — including validating solutions with end users and supporting change, adoption, and continuous improvement activities.

  • Previous experience with agile project management and related tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps etc.) and project management certification (Prince, PMP, PSM, CSM).  

** While you will join Accenture as a Management Consultant, your staffing will depend on Client demand, project pipeline, your skills, and your development goals. Our intention is to place you on AI Business Consultant–type work within the Resources portfolio; however, your assignments may vary. This variety is a normal part of consulting — it gives you exposure to different types of work and helps you build the skills needed for future AI focused‑ roles.
