Job Title: Operations Lead

We are looking for a Senior Sales & Account Management Operations leader with experience working across different functions in a sales environment. Someone with a passion for improving tools, processes and developing people to drive improvement. Someone with credibility and experience to drive Reinvention and enhancement of the Europe SMB Sales Program, engaging multiple internal and external stakeholders to do so. This role will drive consistent and improving operational rigour so that the program can continue to thrive in a rapidly expanding digital/performance marketing sales & account management environment, with a strong focus on working with media buying agencies.
Accenture is partnering with an advertising client to help SMB Advertisers build brand awareness, increase product sales and drive performance from advertising spend. You will have the opportunity to drive measurable outcomes for Accenture, the client and the SMB Advertiser segment.
Success in this position requires you to operate effectively with key Client stakeholders and with other senior colleagues to ensure SMB program initiatives are understood and consistently executed across a large team in multiple locations in Europe. The Accenture Operations Lead role is in place to enable the business on a day to day basis and to improve it over time. This role is a key escalation point for all the client Sales Leadership working on the Europe SMB program.

You will need excellent influencing, communication and reporting skills to drive results in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
The role will report directly to the Accenture Program Lead (aka Region Lead (RL) or SDL) on the Europe SMB Program and will stand in for the RL directly during PTO/other absence.
The role will be the direct local supervisor of the Europe SMB Program - XFN Lead and SOPS Lead (both part of the Europe SMB Leadership Team).
- The OL will work alongside (currently) 3x Function Leads, also reporting into the Accenture Region Lead.
- When deputising for the RL, the FL’s will report into the OL.
- For specific items owned overall by the OL (for example PMF, policy compliance, training, AI enablement) the FL’s will be directed by the OL.
- People focused cross program initiatives including; bonus program management, overall employee engagement assessment & planning, NL/DE location management, organisational design and execution matters, HR and Recruitment.
- Note: Intensive HR Case Management may be supported by other Accenture service delivery personnel to optimise time of OL (and FL’s) to focus on revenue generating initiatives.
- Ensuring that the program is operating effectively on a day to day basis and all team members have the tools, ability and motivation to perform effectively to meet program ambitions, including Revenue Attainment and KPI/OKR objectives
- Responsible for overall policy adherence and compliance (both the client and Accenture policies) on the program.
- The OL will have ultimate ownership of and responsibility for culture and employee engagement across the program.
- Responsible for Staffing & Workforce capacity planning - working with local & global HR & Recruiting support functions and supported by the Workforce Management Lead.
- 1st cross Program issue/risk escalation point on all matters - working with local & global support functions and management.
- Develop strong understanding of what drives revenue outcomes and what initiatives might improve these outcomes, notably AI powered initiatives that improve Sales Execution.
- Work with the client DRI’s on - typically 3-4 - Key Regional Priorities i.e. cross function change or improvement initiatives - supported by XFN and SOPs leads/teams.
- Coordinate the monthly PMF framework/process - especially to identify and implement change based on actionable insights.
- Coordinate business performance and status reviews (for e.g. QBR’s, WBR updates and monthly plan check-ins) to Program Leadership i.e. at least the client’s Region Lead + Function Directors - working with the SOPS Lead to compile.
- Cross Program key meeting coordination & execution - may delegate as required - Weekly Huddles, Townhalls, Cross Program Kick offs.
- Review/scoping/consultation on significant cross program or individual area changes.
- The OL may also - evaluate, recommend, scope and coordinate cross program process and/or system improvement initiatives surfaced to improve business outcomes
Qualifications
- Typically, 7+ years of overall experience including experience managing sales teams - ideally in an AdTech sales environment.
- Ability to make decisions using data with very strong analytical and proven reporting skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal & stakeholder management skills.
- Extremely well organised.
- Deadline and detail oriented.
- Preferably experienced in CRM tools such as Salesforce, Office/G-Suite, Tableau, Outreach collaboration and presentation tools.
- The OL must be someone with a self-starter mentality that is ready to drive implementation of ideas and initiatives. The person must own and take tasks through to completion.
