As a H&S Specialist, you will:
- Maintain general knowledge of Accenture’s business, how it is changing and the affects on teams locally and globally. Ensure this knowledge is applied in the planning and implementation of the health & safety management system.
- Support, implement, improve, and maintain the Accenture Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS) in Ireland, including safety statements, policy and procedures, advising employees and project teams on health and safety matters
- Support, deliver and maintain the programme to retain ISO 45001 certification and support all other processes and audits in the UK and Ireland
In our team you will:
- Give advice and guidance on health and safety matters as well as complete:
- Building and Fire Risk Assessments
- Internal and External Audits
- Persons with Disability Risk Assessments
- Young Persons Risk Assessments
- Event Risk Assessments
- Hazardous Substances Risk Assessments
- Manual Handling Risk Assessments
- Incident reporting and investigation
- Permit to work reviews
Qualifications
We are looking for experience in the following skills:
- Experience in advising on Health and Safety matters
- Certified in NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
- Membership of IOSH (desirable)
- Knowledge of relevant Health and Safety legislation
- Must have good interpersonal skills to be able to get along with other workers within the organisation
- Ability to work on own initiative and in a team

- Proven history in delivering high standards of occupational health and safety
