As a Data & AI security Architect, you will:
Drive the UKIA Data & AI Security Practice: Work with Firm leadership to shape and drive the next generation of capabilities and growth to meet client, market, and threat needs.
Design Robust Data Security Architectures: Work with clients to spearhead the strategic planning and development of comprehensive strategies tailored to the unique requirements and risk profiles of client, with initial emphasis on Data Loss Prevention (DLP). Architect and design robust data security architectures, ensuring the effective data protection of sensitive data across diverse environments, including on-premises and cloud-based systems.
Implement Data Security Solutions: Oversee the implementation and integration of Data Security solutions, leveraging industry-leading technologies and best practices to mitigate data loss risks effectively. Customize Data Security policies and controls to align with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and organizational security objectives, ensuring maximum efficacy and compliance. Drive ongoing BAU optimization with the client.
Advise Clients on AI and Data Security: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and threats to data security and use of AI (gen and non-gen), informing proactive mitigation strategies and continuous improvement efforts.
Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with stakeholders, including IT teams, business leaders, and compliance experts, to ensure alignment between initiatives and organizational objectives.
Provide Technical Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, sharing expertise on Data Security best practices, emerging threats, and innovative solutions.
Qualifications
The following skills and experience are essential for this role:
Expertise in Data Security and/or AI Technologies: Demonstrated proficiency in designing, implementing, and managing Data Security and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) technologies and solutions, including comprehensive knowledge of DLP platforms, tools, and methodologies. Experience with AI security, or Gen AI solutions a plus.
Security Architecture: Strong understanding of security architecture principles and best practices, with the ability to architect robust data security solutions that effectively safeguard sensitive data across diverse environments.
Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements relevant to data security and privacy, such as GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS, and others, ensuring data security, particularly DLP, initiatives align with legal and regulatory mandates.
Risk Management: Proficient in conducting risk assessments and threat modelling exercises to identify and prioritize data risks, enabling the implementation of targeted mitigation strategies and controls.
Team and Capability Building: Experience leading diverse, high performing teams.
Executive Collaboration & Communication: Ability to collaborate with executive clients, understand their requirements, and effectively communicate technical concepts and solutions.
