Our Growth Strategy, Pricing and Corporate Strategy team works as part of a network of professionals within Accenture Strategy serving CEOs and boards to define their enterprise strategy.

The pace of change has been accelerating for a long time, but the range of issues faced by CEOs and boards are now more complex than ever. This is forcing organisations to address their future in more interconnected ways and reshape the path to 360-degree value. That’s why Accenture Strategy has brought together our professions in Growth, Pricing and Corporate Strategy together with our professionals in M&A, Sustainability, Cost Transformation and Intelligent Organisations. Together we address issues of protecting core value creation, pivoting to new business models, being more socially responsible and being more agile with investments for today and tomorrow.

In the Growth, Pricing & Corporate Strategy team we work with our colleagues to solve growth focused projects. We are a UK-based team, part of a broader European network. We also collaborate regularly with Accenture’s Applied Intelligence and Innovation teams and partner with delivery parts of Accenture to turn growth strategies into industry leading transformation successes.

In our team you will learn:

  • To drive short term growth and rapid revenue generation through ‘find and prove the value’ analytical methods and the application of private equity style ways of working

  • To develop modern corporate strategies that allow organisations to make choices on their customers, geographies, routes to market and products

  • To anticipate ways digital and technology innovation impacts business models and harness them to create new routes to growth, for example the impact Generative AI will have on organisations and people in the future

  • To bring to market new products and businesses effectively and successfully

  • To generate sustained value through next generation pricing and commercial models

Your role:

  • Help shape the approach to projects, including developing work and team resource plans

  • Manage project workstreams or deliverables in client delivery work

  • Present to senior clients to validate analysis and share recommendations

  • Coach and develop more junior team members in project work

  • Own the development of client proposals for new business

  • Contribute to developing offerings, assets, capabilities and relevant thought leadership

  • Apply innovation and data-driven techniques

Qualifications

We are looking for experience in the following areas:

  • Corporate growth expertise:

    • Able to support assessment of portfolio strategies to identify growth opportunities across markets, customers and products

    • Can confidently identify and size opportunities and build investment cases

    • Able to contribute to architecting of new customer propositions or business models that unlock identified growth opportunities

    • Able to drive new business and transformational growth strategy
       

  • Analytical thinkers: Utilise quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to rigorously interrogate data sets and generate robust and impactful strategic insights

  • Innovation practitioners: Knowledge of how to apply innovation tools and techniques to creatively shape solutions that can enable growth strategies and be applied and implemented by organisations; knowledge and experience in Generative AI and its applications to drive growth is encouraged

  • Pro-active solution finders: Able to take initiative and make things happen with moderate supervision and guidance

  • Ambiguity navigators: Comfortable working on difficult issues where there can be no definitive “right” answer

  • Multi-taskers: Capable of working on multiple, overlapping tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communicators: Ability to succinctly and simply convey concepts in both written and verbal form

  • Client collaborators: Keen on daily interaction and close collaboration with the client and able to build and sustain relationships

  • Strategic enthusiasts: Interested in long-term strategic thinking and the implementation of business improvement recommendations that impact top line revenue growth and drive margin expansion

  • Team-players: Team-player, ready and willing to support others and contribute to the shared success of project and client teams

  • Team leader: experience in managing teams to deliver client outcome and acting as a trusted point of contact with client and leadership during project delivery

Set yourself apart:

  • Knowledge of corporate strategy big bets like digital commerce, subscription models, direct to consumer or membership propositions

  • Experience of driving value and growth-focused transformations in an organisation

  • Proven history of working on strategic projects in a top tier consulting firm or internal corporate strategy team

  • Experience or knowledge of how to apply innovation for growth – for example, Generative AI solutions for growth
