As a Full Stack Java Engineer, you will:
Continue to grow and develop your Engineering skills, supported by experts within Accenture
Support the technical leads in designing the separation of functional into microservices and the end to end integration and flow between technical components. Support the test automation engineers in testing the stories and features delivered both from a functional and non-functional perspective.
Follow the Scrum Methodology participating actively in sprint backlog refinement, sprint planning, stand-ups, sprint review and sprint retrospective.
Support the team in delivering features by expanding capabilities into other areas of development and testing.
Qualifications
The following skills and experience are essential for this role:
Competent Java developer (Java 8 and above) with solid background in Spring, Spring Boot, Restful services, object orientation and design patterns
Hands-on, demonstrable experience in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, and other scripting languages to support DevOps and Quality Engineering work.
Experience with database technologies such as; MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
Some working experience with Cloud Native technologies on AWS, GCP or Azure
Build automation tools to support CI/CD pipeline
Strong Accessibility, Security, Performance and Caching coding
Experience in writing Junit and test automation frameworks such has cucumber, Mockito, Cypress.
Web application frameworks and API technologies e.g. Swagger, OpenAPI.
Set yourself apart:
Experience with building datastore solutions on at least one No-SQL(Elasticsearch) would be beneficial but not essential.
Proven ability to apply analytical and creative thought and translate into technical solutions.
Proven ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues
Experience in Technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript and REACT would be beneficial but not essential.
