Payroll Projects Associate Manager

Location: London

Salary: £44,000 - £53,000 depending on experience

As a team: 

 

Working as part of the UKI Payroll Team, the role holder will be responsible for managing projects initiated by the UKI Payroll Team, and the payroll-related elements of various other company-wide projects and transformation initiatives. The role holder will also be responsible for reviewing payroll processes, working with our payroll provider to manage software updates, and supporting with monthly payroll delivery when necessary.

In our team you will learn:

  • How to provide solutions to a variety of challenges facing the team in a fast-paced, high volume environment

  • To focus on delivery of key projects and initiatives in a collaborative, matrix organisation

  • How to work effectively with numerous internal and external stakeholders on a variety of projects and issues

 

 As an Associate Manager , you will:

  • Be responsible for projects pipeline by working closely with Senior Management to understand demand 

  • Deliver projects to budget and time

  • Review and updating payroll processes

  • Support monthly payroll delivery as needed Line manage of payroll specialist



Qualifications

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Project Management
  • Knowledge of payroll and HR processes/software
  • Process design
  • Experience of working with suppliers (internal and external)
  • Strong level of business acumen   
  • Strong communication skills
  • The ability to work autonomously on own initiative either independently or as part of a team 
  • A strong customer focus and polished customer management skills (with experience of working with customers and stakeholders in high pressure environments)
  • A quick thinker with a ‘can do’ attitude and an aptitude for creativity or the ability to adapt as required
  • Confident, determined and assured demeanour, especially in high pressure or critical situations
  • Documentation and written skills of a very high standard
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • Strong team player

  • Mastery of stakeholder relationships and collaborative working with colleagues at all levels
  • Proven history of working within payroll teams at a senior level and taking the lead in delivering value adding initiatives
