We’re looking for talented professionals ready to make big things happen, including helping clients migrate to Microsoft Azure, harness the power of data and artificial intelligence, optimize business processes with Microsoft Dynamics 365, and foster modern work and collaboration with Microsoft 365.
About your future role:
We are currently hiring for a Deal Architect to help us scope and solution large transformational deals within our new Accenture Microsoft Business Group Advisory practice in the UK and Ireland. As a Deal Architect you’ll have a key role in supporting interpretation of client requirements and translate those into a technology solution that can be configured from a standard set of offerings.
Proactively providing the needed leadership, analysis and design of a desirable, feasible and financially sound solution that achieves the client targeted business outcomes
Working closely with the bid management team to ensure solution synchronization, i.e. alignment across client expectations, contract, financials (including pricing tables), solution and capability to deliver
Ensuring a smooth transition of the solution plan to the Delivery Lead, making sure they understand and agree to the documented solution
- Understanding the client business drivers, contextualizing the industry and technology trends, analyzing the competitors and determining their potential impact on the opportunities
Collaborating effectively with internal groups to inject “the best of AMBG” into our solution
Developing an optimized solution, evaluating the right delivery and commercial model, including appropriate offerings, assets, alignment to cloud and digital strategies, setting the foundation for an effective and differentiated sale and delivery experience, complying with all necessary standards and internal directives
Presenting the solution at orals, ensuring the solution is accurately represented and advise the sales team on available solution levers and solution options for their commercial and contract negotiation sessions
Building the brand of the Accenture Microsoft Business Group and driving the value proposition of a digital transformation strategy
Demonstrating how our client’s vision can become a reality when Avanade, Accenture and Microsoft technologies and people are brought together
The successful candidate will have the following experience, skills & qualifications:
- A depth of experience working in pre-sales within a consulting environment
- Solid Sales experience in selling and sales process
- A solid grounding in the Microsoft ecosystem & associated technologies
- Fluency in written and spoken English
We’re looking for candidates that also have these additional preferred skills and qualifications:
- Experience in delivering projects and holding a commercial and entrepreneurial mind-set
- You can understand the “big picture” as well as the short-term perspectives and can translate these to-be business capabilities and requirements into a technology solution
- You have a good understanding of the new and emerging technology trends, and can apply those to evolving digital businesses and disruptive operating models
- Understanding of of different delivery methodology including agile methods
- The capability to identify impact and risks of the different delivery models on the opportunities and can provide guidance to mitigate the risks
- Fluency in multiple European languages
