Job Type: 12-month Fixed Term Contract, with potential for extension

Analyst: From £25,520 to £30,800 + (Depending on experience)

Senior Analyst: From £30,800 to £39,820 + (Depending on experience)

Specialist or Lead: From £36,080 to £51,480 + (Depending on experience)

What responsibilities will you have?

 

We are looking for a JavaScript Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include implementing visual elements and their behaviors with user interactions. You will work with both front-end and back-end web developers to build all client-side logic. You’ll also be bridging the gap between the visual elements and the server-side infrastructure, taking an active role on both sides, and defining how the application looks and functions. As an experienced JavaScript Developer, you’ll be responsible for leading development teams who design cutting edge technical solutions for a major Financial Services client based in the North West.

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop new user-facing features
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
  • Optimise applications for maximum speed and scalability
  • Assure that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end services
  • Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Must have strong understanding of UI practices an of utilisation of core digital technologies including Adobe Experience Manager
  • Must have proven development experience in web technologies including HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, Django, Angular and Wordpress
  • Must have proven development experience in JavaScript
  • Must have working knowledge of database technologies including: MS SQL Server, Oracle, Mongo DB, Maria DB
  • Must have proven development experience in Application Programming Interfaces (API) and standards such as REST
