The Total Rewards Lead is responsible for leading a team to develop and execute the regional Compensation & Benefits plan and strategy. Managing and advising the country Field HR leads and their teams, the Total Rewards Lead has overall responsibility for ensuring that these plans are executed successfully throughout the region. The Total Rewards Lead provides support to 9,000+ supervised people across multiple entities, geographies and functions.  In addition to Compensation and Benefits, the Total Rewards Lead has responsibility for Performance Management across the region.  S/he will direct a team of 6 or more individuals. 


What responsibilities will you have?

  • Overall responsibility for the development and implementation of compensation and benefits programs, and performance management processes, in the region including ensuring the alignment with current company business strategy and conditions.
  • Partners with Global Total Rewards personnel on design and implementation of global plans such as Variable Pay Programs and Performance Management processes.  Leads special programs identified at a global level assuring consistency with local requirements.
  • Ensures that Global Total Rewards guiding principles are followed consistently within the region and leads the Country Total Rewards team in the region to ensure local (country) level business requirements and employment laws are met.
  • Facilitates the approval of all regional compensation plans through the respective Geographic Council/s and facilities approvals of Geographic Leadership.
  • Addresses strategic compensation issues and concerns with regional leadership Senior Executives and regional HR Leadership; negotiates solutions and influences change, in line with desired direction.
  • Directs all activities related to the annual salary administration process, and ensures budget parameters are achieved.
  • Collaborates with external companies, where multi-country suppliers are utilized, in order to obtain and release appropriate compensation survey data to the market, and internally, on incentives, and other joint initiatives.

  • Knowledge of company’s structure and practices.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Basic employment law knowledge.
  • Ability to interpret policy and procedure
  • Significant experience in Human Resources with a background in compensation programs.
  • Knowledge of external market reward models.
  • Experience developing and delivering a project plan.
  • Experience in creating and managing budgets.
  • Experience in supervising and developing people.
  • Extended Accenture knowledge.


What academic qualifications do you need?

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
