Salary: £44,000 - £55,000 + benefits

Job Summary:

The Digital Analytics Consultant, specializing in marketing optimization, will work with Accenture clients to understand their digital marketing needs, translating those needs into strategies to deliver higher ROI across digital marketing campaigns.  This professional will work as a Product Expert within our Digital portfolio utilizing Accenture Interactive's platform and tools. 

The Digital Analytics Consultant will assist with the following: Developing digital marketing strategies, Developing customer segmentation strategies, then using cluster analysis, predictive modeling and leading edge analytical techniques to deliver the segmentation. Also support and participate in client presentations and planning sessions documenting required next steps plus explaining and presenting statistical based project results from optimization activities

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing digital marketing strategies for our clients including defining the opportunity, creating the business case and developing the requirements to implement the strategy
  • Analyzing data to determine the most valuable opportunities to improve marketing performance and redesigning digital experiences to deliver this
  • Proposing, contributing to, and verifying multivariate testing and targeting/personalization strategies in the planning phase of Client projects
  • Developing customer segmentation strategies, then using cluster analysis, predictive modeling and leading edge analytical techniques to deliver the segmentation
  • To perform the project analysis utilizing Accenture's proprietary software and common commercial analytical applications
  • To support and participate in client presentations and planning sessions documenting required next steps plus explaining and presenting statistical based project results from optimization activities
  • Working with other Accenture colleagues in data, analytics, media, technology, processes and our clients' agencies to transform or improve marketing operations and performance
  • Supporting teams through all phases of a project lifecycle including developing RFPs, proposals, contracts, planning, discovery, workshops, experiments, blueprints, go live etc 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors degree in a mathematics/statistics or quantitative discipline where modeling and data analysis/manipulation skills were emphasized
  • Minimum 2 years experience processing, combining and transforming large datasets in a commercial environment, using statistical applications such as SAS, SPSS, Matlab or R
  • Minimum 1 year experience using logistic regression, cluster analysis, factor analysis, neural networks and other multivariate analysis techniques
  • Minimum 1 year experience in digital marketing analytics or market research

Preferred Skills:

  • 3 years experience processing, combining and transforming large datasets in a commercial environment, using statistical applications such as SAS, SPSS, Matlab or R
  • 2 years experience using logistic regression, cluster analysis, factor analysis, neural networks and other multivariate analysis techniques
  • Highly numeric with strong attention to detail, and the ability to drive insight from analytics
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Ability to work within a multi-functional (analytics/technical/marketing) team on multiple projects, managing timelines and communicating risks/issues
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing and how digital data is captured across channels (including web sites, paid and organic search, display media, email, social media).
  • Working knowledge of choice modeling and/or experimental design would be highly regarded
  • Knowledge in online marketing best practices and innovations would be highly regarded
  • Knowledge of web optimization and/or web analytics tools would be highly regarded
  • Experience working with user experience design, information architecture, agile web development processes, content management and social collaboration tools would be highly regarded
  • Knowledge of emerging digital technologies/platforms/architectures would be highly regarded
