Accenture’s Finance & Risk Analytics Team
Our Finance and Risk Analytics team focuses on aligning the strategic vision of Finance & Risk functions whilst delivering complex change programmes across Banking, Capital Markets & Insurance.
We believe that excellence within Finance & Risk functions will be underpinned by three key components:

What We Are Looking For
Our Financial Services clients are increasingly looking to intelligently use their data to transform their businesses.  Whether they are looking to meet regulatory compliance, drive cost efficiencies, accelerate their digital transformation or utilise unstructured data in their robotics engines, the speed-to-value and insight afforded by big data solutions has never been more important.
We are looking for candidates with experience of implementing Big Data technologies within Financial Services institutions that also bring a deep understanding of the underlying technologies, challenges and benefits.
Candidates must have:
  • Experience in architecting and implementing Big Data solutions (e.g. Hadoop, Cloudera) in a banking or insurance context
  • Be able to clearly articulate the benefits of big data solutions over more traditional data architectures
  • Be able to advise clients on building or enhancing big data architectures based on industry best practices and their own past experience of such solutions. Credibility in this area requires domain and industry-specific experience.
  • Highly numerate with a strong technical knowledge and experience of applying analytical and modelling techniques to provide insights to business issues.
  • Experience in applying analytical techniques
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
All candidates must be fully flexible in terms of assignment location, as client projects may be based across the UK or Ireland.

  • Accenture Finance & Risk Services help Financial Services firms focus on three of their key challenges - increasing profitability, reducing complexity and managing regulations. Accenture draws on its end-to-end transformation capabilities as well as core strengths in management consulting, technology, analytics and outsourcing to help firms address complex Risk Management, Fraud and Financial Crime and Finance change related issues.
  • We primarily work with leading Investment, Corporate and Retail Banks and Insurers. Accenture is looking for candidates that have an excellent knowledge of how banks and Insurers operate their Risk Management, Fraud and Financial Crime and Finance functions and the current challenges they face. Candidates should also be credible in working on client change projects and have leadership and stakeholder engagement skills that can be used immediately on client facing work.
  • Accenture Finance & Risk Services is structured as a set of ‘domains’, each representing ‘functional’ areas our clients are currently investing in. Within each of these domains we have both management consulting and technology resources. Our people are not ‘hard-locked’ to a specific domain but rather they provide a focus point for skills building, project alignment and investment. Our 9 Domains are: Regulation & Compliance, Regulatory Remediation, Financial Risk Management, Fraud and Financial Crime, Treasury, Finance & Accounting, Finance & Risk Transformation, Conduct of Business and Data Analysis & Insight.
