Travel: 60-80%

Salary: 40,000 - 80,000 + Benefits

We are looking for Functional experts in Workday HCM for positions ranging from Consultant to Project Manager.


The Workday practice is home to a thriving team that operates across industry sectors to bring SaaS HCM expertise to our client engagements. To respond to market requirements for Workday HCM functional expertise, this team requires additional Workday HCM professionals.

You will operate alongside the senior business and IT stakeholders of our clients to understand their business requirements and contribute to the design and implementation of Workday HCM based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team with key client business and IT users to define business requirements and design solutions to meet their needs
  • Provide functional subject matter expertise on the Workday HCM solution
  • Manage process redesign
  • Manage technical and test teams to implement functionality
  • Manage change activities to ensure business adoption and effective user training

Responsibilities for candidates with relevant team leadership experience may also include:

· Identify and manage senior stakeholder expectations

· Manage the end to end project lifecycle to deliver projects on time and to budget

· Lead teams in design and delivery of the Workday HCM solution

Key Skills

You will have experience of working on large-scale, high profile and complex Workday HCM implementation programmes delivering to tight timescales where you have experienced all phases of the project lifecycle and gained a solid understanding of project management methodologies. Client facing experience within multiple industries is also welcomed as well as deep SaaS HCM functional expertise including:

  • Workday experience in HR Projects
  • Knowledge of some or all Workday functionality (Core HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Talent, Absence, Time Tracking, Integrations, Security, Data Conversion)
  • Experience with all aspects of a Workday HCM implementation including requirements gathering, fit/gap analysis, functional design documentation, user acceptance testing, training and deployment activities
  • Experience of other SaaS HCM products would be beneficial
  • Preferably a consulting background and experience of end-to-end Workday HCM implementation project lifecycles (experience of managing teams for Project Lead roles)
  • Exposure to Project Management methodologies (e.g. Prince 2 qualified)
  • Strong team player (proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment) and team leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
· Ideally, educated to degree level
