Finance Transformation Analyst/Consultant (Risk CFO)
About the Role
Join our Financial Services practice and help organizations transform their Finance and Risk operating models. As a Business Process & Finance Transformation Analyst/Consultant within the Risk CFO team, you will work with leading financial institutions to design, optimize, and implement business processes that improve financial planning, governance, reporting, and operational efficiency.
You will collaborate with business stakeholders, finance teams, risk functions, and technology teams to drive process transformation initiatives across areas such as budgeting, expense management, financial forecasting, cost allocation, and data governance. This role combines business process design expertise with financial management skills to support strategic decision-making and organizational change.
The successful candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, experience working within finance transformation environments, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Process Design & Transformation
- Design and implement business processes aligned with customer requirements and organizational objectives.
- Analyze current-state processes and operating models to identify optimization opportunities.
- Develop future-state process designs by leveraging established methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Facilitate workshops and requirements gathering sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
- Support large-scale transformation initiatives across finance and risk functions.
Finance & CFO Transformation
- Support the design and improvement of end-to-end finance processes.
- Contribute to expense management and spend governance initiatives.
- Support forecasting and planning processes, including Profit & Loss (P&L) forecasting.
- Assist in the design and optimization of cost allocation frameworks and methodologies.
- Collaborate with finance and risk stakeholders to improve financial transparency, reporting accuracy, and decision-making capabilities.
- Support finance transformation programs aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and governance.
Data Governance & Compliance
- Drive data governance initiatives to improve data quality, consistency, and controls.
- Ensure business processes comply with regulatory and internal governance requirements.
- Support risk assessment and control activities throughout transformation initiatives.
- Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to embed governance into process design.
Change Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and implement change interventions that support organizational transformation.
- Engage cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful adoption of new processes.
- Communicate recommendations, risks, and opportunities to business leaders and project teams.
- Support training, communications, and transition activities associated with new processes and systems.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Business Process Design, Finance Transformation, CFO Advisory, Risk Transformation, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Data Governance, or a related discipline.
- Experience working with financial planning, forecasting, expense management, cost allocation, or management reporting processes.
- Experience collaborating with business, finance, risk, and technology stakeholders.

- Experience working with data governance frameworks and financial data management processes.
- Familiarity with process mapping and transformation methodologies.
- Exposure to finance and risk data management environments is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
Financial Services & Risk CFO Experience
- Experience within Financial Services, Banking, Capital Markets, or Insurance.
- Understanding of Risk CFO operating models and finance transformation initiatives.
- Experience supporting forecasting, budgeting, expense management, and cost allocation processes.
- Exposure to finance and risk regulatory environments.
Additional Skills
- Intermediate proficiency in Regulatory Compliance.
