Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Financial Services practice. In this role, you will partner with banking and capital markets clients globally to redesign and optimise the credit lifecycle or Treasury / ALM operating model. You will work across process, policy, governance, organisation, data, and technology to deliver scalable, commercially relevant improvements. The role sits at the intersection of strategy, risk, analytics, and transformation, helping clients address complex balance sheet, lending, and risk management challenges.

Key Responsibilities
Role 1: Credit Lifecycle
- Assess and redesign end-to-end credit lifecycle processes across origination, underwriting, monitoring, collections, and recovery to identify inefficiencies, control gaps, and transformation opportunities.
- Design future-state Target Operating Models (TOM) across credit and Treasury / ALM, aligning people, process, governance, data, and technology to improve scalability, control, and business performance.
- Develop and enhance credit policies, underwriting frameworks, portfolio segmentation approaches, and early warning frameworks to strengthen risk identification and portfolio management.
- Support the design of collections and recovery strategies across early, mid, and late-stage delinquency, using analytics-led interventions to improve cure rates, roll rates, and recovery outcomes.
Role 2: Treasury / ALM operating model
- Manage and optimise Treasury and ALM activities, including liquidity monitoring, funding strategy, balance sheet optimisation, and interest rate risk management, in line with internal risk appetite and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse maturity mismatches, liquidity gaps, cash flow profiles, and structural balance sheet exposures to support robust ALM decision-making and balance sheet steering.
- Support development and enhancement of ALM and risk analytics frameworks, including scenario analysis, stress testing, behavioural assumptions, and measurement of key metrics such as liquidity risk and interest rate risk.
- Contribute to regulatory and internal risk reporting across credit and Treasury / ALM domains, including areas such as Basel, LCR, NSFR, IRRBB, and portfolio risk monitoring.
Common for both roles
- Collaborate with business, data, and technology teams on requirements gathering, data sourcing, process design, UAT, and implementation for risk, finance, and Treasury transformation programmes.
- Partner with Banking and Capital Markets clients globally to define strategic priorities and develop executable roadmaps across risk transformation, operating model redesign, cost optimisation, and digital enablement.

- Proposal development and response to RFP / RFQ
- People, delivery quality and risk management
- Build deep client relationships, drive engagement expansion and own end-to-end delivery accountability: quality, stakeholder management, risk mitigation
- Support the account team in growth and delivery; build offerings, run POVs, drive skill adoption, and support staffing and training
- In addition to the above, should have performed prior-level responsibilities
Senior Manager
- Build deep client relationships, drive engagement expansion and own end-to-end delivery accountability
- Run CoE-aligned campaigns for new account growth and lead sales through wealth offerings
- Drive strategic direction and execution
- Build client and account-team relationships to secure high-impact deals
- Participate in client orals for new proposals and incorporate Industry Lead feedback
- Support headcount (hiring, retention), optimise utilisation per global demand, lead engagement initiatives and actively mentor counselees
- In addition to the above, should have performed prior-level responsibilities
Experience & Skills
Essential
- 3+ years of experience in financial services consulting, risk transformation, Treasury / ALM, credit risk, or related roles within banking and capital markets institutions.
- Deep domain expertise across one or more of the following areas: credit lifecycle transformation, underwriting frameworks, early warning systems, collections strategy, liquidity risk, balance sheet management, Treasury operations, or ALM.
- Proven ability to support or deliver transformation programmes involving operating model design, process improvement, governance enhancement, or implementation of risk, finance, or Treasury capabilities.
- Strong analytical foundation with experience in data-driven problem solving, scenario analysis, performance management, or risk and financial analytics.
- Ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and manage complex, multi-workstream engagements with clarity, structure, and commercial acumen.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex business, risk, and Treasury concepts into concise, executive-ready narratives.
Preferred
- Familiarity with lending platforms, collections tools, Treasury systems, ALM platforms, or broader risk and finance technology ecosystems.
- Exposure to multiple banking products or business lines, including corporate, SME, consumer, mortgage, deposits, or Treasury products.
- Working knowledge of regulatory expectations and market practices related to credit risk, liquidity risk, interest rate risk, and balance sheet management.
- Prior experience contributing to thought leadership content, proposals, RFP responses, or business development initiatives.
Education Qualifications
Must have a Master’s Management Degree (MBA, PGDBM, MMS etc.). CFA / FRM / CFP / CWM / PRM or other industry-specific certification is an added advantage.

- Visa readiness for the US, UK, Europe, Middle East or APAC markets is a plus for suitable candidates
