As a Cloud Migration Engineer, a typical day involves evaluating current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments. This role includes strategizing and executing the migration of applications and data, ensuring that the solutions implemented are scalable and optimized for performance. The position requires close collaboration with various teams to align migration efforts with business goals, while managing both private and public cloud technologies to support innovative and efficient outcomes.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth migration processes and address any challenges that arise.
- Monitor and optimize cloud migration workflows to enhance efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Document migration procedures and best practices to support knowledge sharing within the team.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Database Architecture.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle GoldenGate.
- Strong understanding of database management and cloud infrastructure integration.
- Experience in planning and executing data migration strategies in cloud environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to database performance and migration.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and their services to support scalable and high-performance solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Database Architecture.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
