Summary:
As an Application Developer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications that align with business processes and meet specific application requirements. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational needs and translating them into functional software solutions. The workday often includes collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed are efficient, reliable, and tailored to support business objectives effectively. Continuous refinement and adaptation of applications to evolving requirements are also key aspects of the daily routine.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Ensure the quality and performance of applications through thorough testing and debugging.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of application designs and configurations.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and assisting with technical challenges.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core Integrations.
- Experience with integration design patterns and middleware technologies related to Workday.
- Strong understanding of application lifecycle management and deployment processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve integration issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with data transformation and mapping techniques within integration frameworks.
- Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Workday Core Integrations.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
