As businesses set ever more ambitious environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals, their sustainability and technology strategies need to become more tightly aligned. To support the CIOs of our clients with realizing an effective sustainable technology strategy that drives both business growth and ESG performance, the overarching goal is to embed Sustainability in all our Technology solutions and services – Sustainability by design - by delivering on three imperatives:
Sustainability by Technology: Using the power of technology to enable & accelerate sustainability efforts across the organizations and business.
Sustainability in Technology: Protecting people and the planet by making technology itself progressively more sustainable.
Sustainability at Scale: Pursuing breakthrough innovation with Ecosystem partners to develop radically different and more sustainable ways of doing business in the future.
Team You will join our Technology Sustainability team, which is focusing on delivery services and solutions related to the three imperatives. For example we help supporting our clients in making steps in their sustainable journey by Kickstarting a Green Cloud project, deliver Sustainable Software development Frameworks or selecting and implementing ESG Measurement & Tracking Platforms
Daily Tasks During this internship, you will use your insights related to Technology Sustainability to develop new ideas that enable the organization to deploy the new and create value. The focus of your internship can be on one particular field, for example such as Green Cloud or an ESG Platform, on an overarching theme such as Sustainability by Technology or Sustainability by Design.
Research We support a research topic that includes the following: Using the power of technology to enable & accelerate sustainability efforts across the organization; Protecting people and the planet by making technology itself progressively more sustainable; Pursuing breakthrough innovation with Ecosystem partners to develop radically different and more sustainable ways of doing business in the future
Technology In this role you will getting familiar with ESG monitoring, reporting and tracking platforms. This includes data architectures, data pipelines and infrastructures topics. Think of platforms like: Microsoft Sustainability Manager, Salesforce Net Zero Cloud and SAP Sustainability Control Tower
With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders, and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs.

Qualifications
HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You are in the final year of your master's degree (MSc/MA) at a Dutch university
You have an academic background in XX
You are fluent in Dutch and English
You have affinity with the latest technological, strategic, and consulting trends
You are a team player with excellent communication skills
You work independently and have a hands-on mentality, you are creative and take responsibility and you are strongly intrinsically motivated to be involved in your work.
