MAYA Health is a non-profit organization which aims to provide door-to-door medical care in rural parts of the country by tying up with local marginalized women and training them to be healthcare providers, thereby, giving them employment opportunities.
Accenture partnered up with MAYA Health and enabled these healthcare providers by creating an app that helps record basic medical parameters like blood pressure and schedules appointments.
Through this partnership, MAYA Health is enabling rural women to land on their own feet and making them a part of India’s digital economy.
