MES Technical Engineering Manager

Location: Cork or Dublin, Ireland

We are looking for an ambitious Manufacturing Execution Systems Engineers with 5 – 10 years’ MES experience ready to take on new challenges, joining our ESP teams  in Cork and Dublin. This opportunity will see you join an industry leader in deployment of Manufacturing Systems for the Life Science Manufacturing industry.

Role and Responsibilities 

 
As a MES Technical Engineering Manager, you will –
  • Help grow and develop the internal MES practice within Accenture Industry X
  • Collaborate with technology leads across the Accenture life science practices to enable transformation of manufacturing and supply chain digital operations for our clients
  • Support sales and client relationship efforts through technical contributions
  • Be the technical lead responsible for the design, development, documentation, and implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Conduct MES Feasibility Assessments, Studies and Roadmaps for clients
  • Participate in developing MES Strategy and Programs for clients
  • Partner with business clients and delivery teams to determine appropriate solutions
  • Work collaboratively with business management and users to strategically define the needs and design solutions which add value
  • Lead multiple projects and medium to large sized MES delivery teams
  • Gather user requirements in relation to controlling and recording manufacturing activities
  • Design, author, develop and Configure Electronic Batch Records (EBR)
  • Implement MES solutions and integrate with ERP and control equipment
  • Document MES configuration



Qualifications

Background and Experience
  • Bachelors’ degree in Science, Engineering or relatable technical degree
  • 5 – 10 years’ MES experience, gained in a highly automated Life Sciences manufacturing environment
  • 5+ years’ experience leading or managing MES deployment teams.
  • Experience with PAS|X, Syncade, PharmaSuite, XFP, POMS, Camstar or other life sciences compatible MES solutions
  • Working knowledge of FDA and GMP guidelines and of software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and support methodologies required
  • Have a team-oriented focus, strong client engagement skills and exposure to working within a highly collaborative environment
  • Experience facilitating client and internal meetings, leading with a results and outcome focused
