AEE Innovation, Quality & Risk Specialist

Our professional network of subject matter experts work with our Global Function and Location Partners to develop strategy, lead solution planning, and deliver transformative action across seven COE&Ds (Centre of Excellence & Delivery).  This role is split between the Risk & Compliance COE&D and the Innovation Culture & Practice COE&D. 

 
 
Responsibilities: 
 
Quality & Risk:
 
  • Providing guidance on requirements for ISO 9001: 2015 compliance to AEE Ireland teams within scope of ISO audit
  • Planning for and assisting Team Management with annual internal audits
  • Planning and supporting the external NSAI ISO audits
  • Ensure completion of monthly Issue & Activity Log and prepare and distribute Power BI report for Senior Leadership
  • Monitor progress on any identified Issues through to completion
 
Information Security:
 
  • Provide support for the UKI Information Security process as it relates to AEE Ireland, including preparations advice and guidance as required for Global Info Sec audits. 
  • Provide support to the AEE Ireland Quality, Risk & IS Lead in relation to Information Security and communications and activities
  • Ensuring AEE Ireland is adhering to the timeline for Information Security assets updates as scheduled by the UKI Information Security team
 
Controllership Global Reporting:
 
  • Managing the movement and review process relating to the reporting of the Global AEE Controllership Capability Employees
  • Liaising with multiple Service Delivery leads and HR points of contact globally 
  • Create and distribute Power BI report to Senior AEE Controllership leads 
  • Manage ad hoc controllership reporting as required 
 
 
Innovation:
 
  • Provide technology skills to develop and implement solutions for business ideas / improvements
  • Maintain reports & dashboards tracking progress of innovation ideas
  • Provide advice and support on emerging technologies and their applicability to AEE Ireland processes
 
Skills:  
 
  • Strong Microsoft skills; in particular SharePoint and MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Strong interest in technology with experience of Automation and Visualization tools an advantage
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Research and problem resolution skills
  • Strong organizational, reporting and analytical skills
  • Interpersonal flexibility and strong team skills
  • Team-working/collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage time, meet deadlines and prioritise
  • Fluency in English and excellent written skills required

Qualifications and Experience:   

  • 3rd level qualification or relevant work experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a shared service organisation
  • Knowledge of Analytics, Power BI and Excel Visual Basic are an advantage.
  • Knowledge of information security & audit processes an advantage
