As the AWS Cloud Engineer you will participate in the creation and maintenance of development, test and production environments with a goal of high availability, fault-tolerance and scalability. You will also be responsible for implementing continuous integration and deployment of code to our cloud hosted environments to accelerate development and reduce manual effort.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree and 12 years experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 14 years experience OR Associates Degree and 16 years of experience OR 18 years with no Degree.
  • 3 years of demonstrated experience in designing and developing complex distributed IT solutions (e.g. cloud, distributed systems or high-performance computing experience).
  • 2 years' experience designing and building web application environments on AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, etc.
  • 2 years' Ability to create and utilize AWS Cloud Formation templates to automate creation of AWS images.
  • 2 years' experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Ansible, Puppet, Artifactory, or SonarQube in a cloud environment, or 2 years' experience in developing scripts and scripting languages (PowerShell or Bash).
  • 2 years' experience with Linux or Windows Server system administration.
  • 1 year experience with installing and configuring application servers such as Weblogic, JBoss and Tomcat.
  • U.S. Citizen required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate preferred.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional preferred.


An active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
