The Project Control Services Team Lead supports projects by tracking and managing project management office activities for one dedicated client account. Your role will be based on client site and you will proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables by working with multiple stakeholders to align priorities and direction.
Main Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Define and maintain standards for project management within the organization
  • Provide documentation, guidance and metrics on the program/project
  • Oversee work on financial tracking & reporting work for the program/project
  • Manage work plan, tracking and analytics for the program/project execution
  • Lead/support Project Control Services teams
  • Responsible for creation and maintenance of management dashboards and executive summaries
  • Lead resource management support including roll on – roll off, resource tracking and reporting.
  • Ensure completion of administrative tasks such as project operations support, deliverable management, communication support and project/service management tooling support.
  • Help to facilitate the transformational changes across an organization's ecosystem to be successful.
  • Through your work, you would support definition and maintenance of standards for project management within the organization demonstrating deep expertise and leadership skills when required.
  • May assess and communicate project / program management status aligning Technology Delivery Center Strategy with required planning and mobilization
  • Communicate project / program management status to different stakeholders as required
  • Process Workflow Management from ticketing, workload assignment, and risk and issue management
Basic Qualifications:
  • PMP certified or similar qualification advantageous.
  • Relevant 3rd level qualification - honours degree
Professional Skill Requirements
  • 5 years Project Management experience
  • Experience with MS Project, Microsoft Project Server and Project Web Access
  • Experience in Financial Forecasting, Variance Analysis, Budgeting and Metrics Reporting
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Ability to work with all levels of client and internal resources
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proven problem solving abilities
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Desire to work in an information systems environment
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
