The Innovation Services Lead is one of four strategic management nodes in the Dock’s Innovation Services Team. As a Lead, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of pioneering innovation services to Accenture’s clients. Services include partnering with the Client C-Suite to identify breakthrough ideas; and to develop solution prototypes. You will be a critical intersection between our client account teams, clients and The Dock and will ensure overall service quality, delivery and execution of the work of the Innovation Service Team.


What you’ll be doing

As a Lead in the Innovation Services Team your role will have two core focus areas:

1.      Partner with a specific Operating Group in Accenture to build deep relationships to execute on the client strategy. This will include:

-        Develop relationships with key leadership roles in the operating group; be the translator between strategic account planning and innovation opportunities bringing the best of innovation at Accenture to our clients

-        Partner with client account teams to understand client opportunities and deliver tailored services

-        Serve as an executive “innovation coach” to client account leadership to better leverage the Dock and to bring “innovation led selling” to account planning and strategy

-        Be the champion for Accenture’s Innovation Architecture bringing it to life and unlocking the value it can deliver in client sessions

-        Support account teams to build a pipeline of work from innovation sessions; creating real and actionable opportunities for account growth

-        Oversee and act as the “quality assurance” for all client engagements related to the industry (operating group) area of focus

 

2.      Be a leader of the team focusing on developing inspired people, driving service optimisation, delivering operational excellence and engaging in cross Dock opportunities and engagements. This will include:

-        Pioneer innovation services, leveraging the capabilities across the Dock, to differentiate Accenture and The Dock with account teams and clients; create new value opportunities for clients at the point of sale and point of delivery

-        Collaborate with the leads of other innovation centres (particularly in Europe) to come together to exchange best practices

-        Build and lead a multi-disciplinary team of ~40 highly skilled client facing professionals with responsibility for designing and delivering client facing innovation service

-        Foster creativity and innovation in our team and support the overall development of the teams skills and atmosphere

-        Look for and deliver on opportunities to improve operational activities and overall service quality 

Experience and Qualifications

·        Relevant degree

·        10+ years plus in strategy or innovation consulting in a complex global professional services environment with strong client engagement focus

·        Strong understanding of the role of the Accenture Innovation architecture and the role of the Dock in helping Accenture and clients rotate to the new

·        Expert of key concepts including but not limited to business strategy, innovation, global and technology trends, key ecosystem partners

·        Strong executive presence and ability to influence at all levels in the organisation

·        People management skills

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        Ability to influence at C-suite level, internally and externally
