Digital Analytics & Optimization Manager
The Digital Analytics & Optimization Manager will play a critical role in business development and delivery, providing pre-sales support and thought leadership surrounding analytics and experience optimization technologies as well as working directly with customers to implement sophisticated web analytics and personalization programs. The ideal candidate will have experience managing digital intelligence teams and working closely with clients to understand their business needs in the digital analytics space. The candidate should have a well-developed knowledge of web analytics and optimization technologies, processes, and trends.

 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities                 
  • Provides business expertise and direction on how clients can best leverage data and information to drive business decisioning and performance
  • Delivers pitches and proposals in partnership with senior sales and technical services leadership
  • Drafts statements of work and solution plans
  • Partners with technology architects and solution leads to develop roadmap plans and deliver highly integrated, actionable solutions
  • Develops and delivers training to content authoring and digital intelligence teams
 
Basic Qualifications
  • Expertise in design, implementing, and operating digital analytics tools using industry-standard technologies (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Experience working with experience testing and optimization tools (Adobe Target, Maxymiser, Optimizely, etc.) and tag management systems (e.g., Adobe DTM, Ensighten)
  • Exposure to the following technologies a plus:
    • Commercial WCM and eCommerce platforms (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Drupal, Sitecore, hybris, ATG)
    • Data management platforms (e.g., Adobe Audience Manager, Blue Kai, X+1)
    • Marketing automation and email marketing (e.g., Adobe Campaign, ExactTarget, Eloqua, Marketo)
    • CRM (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with web technologies including HTML and JavaScript
  • Experience managing a digital analytics team
  • Experience performing pre-sales functions such as estimation and prospect presentations
  • Experience working in a consulting firm or digital agency
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in web and digital marketing
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with leading client-facing projects
 
Preferred Skills:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in Business Administration, Interactive Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Product Development or Marketing Communications.
Professional Skills:
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Excellent client relationship skills, ability to develop relationships with client executives based on credibility in the digital marketing area
  • Ability to effectively manage client expectations.
  • Ability to multi-task and support multiple areas of responsibility at the same time
