Job Description:
The Salesforce Functional Consultant works closely with client to uncover business requirements and to create and effectively demonstrate solutions that address customer requirements and align with the business strategy. Candidates will be designing marketing, sales, and service business processes that align and take advantage of the Salesforce capabilities. Moreover, candidates will participate in other software development lifecycle (SDLC) phases, and play important role such as testing leads, data migration leads, etc.
A professional at this position within Accenture has the following responsibilities:
  • Facilitate requirement workshops and design sessions.
  • Working with business process and development teams to design, implement and deploy applications to different clients at the enterprise level.
  • Develop business requirements and functional designs to effectively demonstrate solutions that address customer requirements.
  • Elaborate application business requirements and translate into technical designs.
  • Participate in technical feasibility analysis, preparation of prototypes.
  • Configure the Salesforce solution.
  • Design test scenarios, write and lead execution of test scripts.
  • Develop, test and support system integration phase.
  • Follow defined methodology and standards including preparation and maintenance of documentation for all stages of development work.
  • Participate actively with curiosity in continuous improvement process and quality.
  • Share knowledge and best practices.

Qualifications / Skills / Year of Experiences required
  • 3+ years of relevant Salesforce experience
  • In depth understanding of one or more Salesforce functionalities across multiple Salesforce Clouds (Sales, Service, Marketing, Analytics, Social, Communities, etc.), or Salesforce or 3rd party AppExchange apps (CPQ, Apttus, Pardot, Veeva, etc.)
  • In depth understanding & hands-on experience in one or more industry scenarios like Sales Pipeline, Forecast, Marketing Campaigns, Customer Support, Distributor Management/Portal, etc.
  • Hands-on client facing leading experience, such as lead requirement workshops, lead product demos & reviews, lead stakeholder interviews, etc.
  • Hands-on experience in design through deploy experience, including prototyping, product demos, developer communication, defect root cause analysis, etc.
  • Understands the software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as waterfall, V-model, Scrum, Hybrid Agile, etc.
  • Understanding of Salesforce development technics, such as triggers, futures, batches, Visualforce pages, lightning components, etc. as well as their applied scenarios and limitations.
  • Entry level of Salesforce Certifications (Admin, Platform Developer I, Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, etc.)
  • Ability of code reading and programming concept is preferred, such as SOQL, SOSL, apex, visualforce, html, css, javascript, etc.
  • Understanding and experience in new methodology and Salesforce technology is preferred, such as Design Thinking, Story Telling, Salesforce Big Object, Salesforce Lightning Experience, Salesforce Lightning Design System, etc.
  • Fluent written and oral English skill is a must
  • Good communication & consulting skills is a must
