Research Specialist
This is a commercially focused, applied research role within Accenture Research’s Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) team. The role will work across industry sectors to apply quantitative research methods to client questions. These questions may range from: How could AI reshape the Australian labour market to 2030? to What might be the economic impact of critical minerals processing on the Australian economy? and What is the quantifiable value of digital health transformation for Australian consumers?
We are looking for a candidate with strong economic modelling capabilities, solid data science foundations, and excellent data visualisation skills. Someone who can translate complex analysis into a compelling narrative. The ideal profile is akin to a “data journalist”: rigorous in modelling, sharp in insight generation and highly effective in visual storytelling.
As a Research Specialist, you will be expected to take ownership of workstreams, engage directly with clients and internal stakeholders, and contribute to shaping research approaches with increasing independence.
The ideal candidate will bring a naturally curious mindset and an entrepreneurial disposition. Someone who thrives at the intersection of evidence-based research rigour and the agility required to navigate the peaks and troughs of client engagements. You should be comfortable balancing deep analytical reflection with the pace and pragmatism that commercial delivery demands.
