As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing and developing tailored software components that integrate seamlessly within larger systems or applications. The role requires continuous collaboration with various stakeholders to understand evolving business requirements and translate them into effective software solutions. The engineer actively participates in iterative development cycles, ensuring that the software is scalable, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals. Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to align project objectives and deliverables with business priorities.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in ServiceNow ITOM Event Management.
- Strong experience in designing and implementing IT operations management solutions within enterprise environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to event management and system integrations.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to optimize workflows and enhance system performance.
- Experience working with agile development methodologies and modern software frameworks.
- Capability to analyze system data and provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM Event Management.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
