Role Summary
The JDE PTF Analyst will support Plan-to-Fulfill (PTF) processes within Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, with primary focus on production orders, shop floor execution, and inventory control. The role involves functional support, issue resolution, and continuous improvement across manufacturing execution and inventory movement processes.
Key Responsibilities
Production Orders & Manufacturing Execution
Support production / work order processing in JD Edwards, including creation, release, issue, completion, and closure.
Assist business users with production order lifecycle management and exception handling.
Ensure accurate capture of production quantities, labor, and material consumption.
Shop Floor Support
Provide functional support for Shop Floor Management processes in JD Edwards.
Support shop floor transactions such as material issue, completions, scrap, and reversals.
Coordinate with production teams to resolve shop floor execution issues and system errors.
Inventory Control
Support inventory control activities related to manufacturing such as issues to production, receipts from production, transfers, and adjustments.
Ensure inventory balances are accurately updated through production and shop floor transactions.
Assist in resolving inventory discrepancies impacting production and fulfillment.
Functional Support & Testing
Act as L2/L3 functional support for PTF-related issues.
Perform root-cause analysis and work with technical teams on fixes or enhancements.
Support unit testing and UAT for production and inventory-related changes.
Documentation & Process Improvement
Maintain functional documentation including SOPs, process flows, and test cases.
Identify opportunities to improve production execution and inventory accuracy.
Ensure compliance with standard processes and internal controls.
Required Skills & Experience
Core Functional Skills
3–4 years of hands-on experience in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manufacturing / PTF.
Strong working knowledge of:
Production / Work Orders
Shop Floor Management
Inventory Control & Goods Movement
Experience supporting manufacturing execution processes in ERP environments.
ERP & System Knowledge
Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne functional expertise.
Understanding of end-to-end PTF flow from production order to inventory update.
Soft Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in offshore and cross-functional teams.
Clear communication skills with production, warehouse, and business users.
Good to Have
Exposure to mixed-mode manufacturing environments.
Experience in ERP support or enhancement projects.
Basic understanding of manufacturing and inventory KPIs.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Manufacturing Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
