Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, you will develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, utilizing modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable and high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, ensuring that the software solutions meet the highest standards of quality and performance while adapting to evolving project requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME.
- Collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Continuously evaluate and improve development processes to increase efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Proficient in developing and deploying web and mobile applications using Oracle VBCS.
- Skilled in designing user interfaces with drag-and-drop components and implementing dynamic business logic using JavaScript and REST APIs.
- Experience integrating VBCS applications with Oracle SaaS (ERP, HCM, CX) and other REST-enabled services.
- Strong understanding of data models, business objects, and process automation within the Oracle Cloud ecosystem
Additional Information:
- Hands-on experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) for developing and deploying responsive web and mobile applications.
- Familiar with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle Process Cloud, and REST/SOAP web service integration.
- Strong understanding of modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) and cloud-based development environments.
