Job Description

Sales & Pricing Performance provides end-to-end sales and pricing effectiveness, sales operations, and analytics services. S&PP partners with teams around the world to deliver insights, improve acumen and win profitable deals.

Responsible for being the global offering expert, developing the service strategy for one or more offerings in the following service areas: Sales Qualification, Win Strategies, Approvals, New Business Management, Pipeline and Outlook Management, and Proactive Origination.  This role is responsible for developing the Why and What of the offering and working closely with the Service Process Architect who is responsible for the How.  Together with application architecture, analytics and change management expertise the service team enable the S&PP teams who execute our services for our customers.

This position reports to the S&PP COE Service Lead.

Primary responsibilities include: 

  • Drive global projects and initiatives within the service/process area, and provide operational support to achieve long-term and short-term objectives for the service/process area
  • Translate and orchestrate the S&PP leadership vision and mission, alongside voice-of-the-customer/end user feedback, for the S&PP service/process area – to deliver outcomes across a diverse and geographically dispersed organization (through Market, Market Unit, Client Group and/or Accenture Service levels)
  • Lead the design and enablement of sub-offerings/sub-processes, tooling, training, and business and operational performance metrics required for the S&PP service/process area, working with the process architects in your service areas and the application architecture, analytics and change management teams that span the S&PP Centre of Excellence.
  • Demonstrate mastery of the S&PP Service Areas
  • Build acumen, drive adoption, and measure the success of the S&PP service/process area implementation with stakeholders and customers
  • Engage with S&PP team members, sales leadership, other corporate function stakeholders as appropriate, and sales team members to continuously enhance, optimize and transform the S&PP service/process area, handling and assessing individual stakeholder requests as needed. Proactively identify strategic improvements and assess pain points within the service/process area.
  • Define and execute internal communication plans
  • Interact confidently and build credible relationships with senior leadership and stakeholders


Knowledge & Skill Requirements:

  • Deep leadership and strategic thinking skills; develops strategies to achieve organizational goals
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English.  Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, writes clearly and informatively, listens and provides clarification; this role requires a confident communicator and team player with robust interpersonal skills and a “can-do” attitude
  • Strong ability to guide workforce and stakeholders in a global environment:  excellent management, work-planning, team-building, collaboration, facilitation, and coaching/mentoring skills across a widely diverse group of individuals, whether in person or virtually
  • Deep understanding of sales life cycle, sales processes, procedures, and tools
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; synthesizes complex or diverse information
  • Strong business process management skills
  • Solid understanding of finance concepts for a services company

Educational Qualification

Must have: 

  • Undergraduate degree
  • English language fluency (oral and written)

Skills & Work Experience

Must have: 

  • Experience in the following areas: Sales Qualification, Win Strategies, Approvals, New Business Management, Pipeline and Outlook Management, and Proactive Origination
  • A minimum of 6 years of experience, with proven track record in supporting and enhancing business services/processes.
  • Internal and client facing experience, business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Advanced Excel skills (e.g. vlookups, formulas)
  • Attention to Detail
  • Quick Learner
  • Executive presence/presentation skills

Nice to have:

  • Prior sales experience
  • Understanding of S&PP processes and tools desirable

Other requirements (please specify such as overtime, etc.)

  • Must be flexible with work hours according to shifting business needs
  • Demonstrate understanding of S&PP services and how they drive the Next Generation Sales objectives for Accenture
  • Must have good internet connectivity and distraction-free environment for working at home, in accordance with local guidelines
