Job Description

Accenture Direct provides marketing support to Accenture Marketing & Communications globally. The Business Event Support Team manage audience acquisition and client engagement processes for noteworthy and tier 1 client events and programs. BEST work with Event Management and M&C teams cross OG / industry to effectively manage audience acquisition, internal communications and email marketing, database & response management, legal and compliance, client engagement, meeting management, and onsite support.
 
Role & Responsibilities
Work with the Accenture Direct BEST Client Engagement lead to effectively support meeting scheduling and client activity management for noteworthy and tier 1 global client events and conferences, operating within a global event support team.
  • Scheduling:
    • Set-up of appropriate scheduling / registration tool (i.e. Cvent / Jifflenow / ePlannerPro), customized to meet client needs and requirements.
    • Ongoing management of tool to successfully run the client / leadership meeting program or client activity.
    • Response Management, via email, shared mailbox, online form and requests to manage inbound meeting requests and confirmations.
  • Communications:
    • Internal Comms - CAL, client account team and marketing team outreach to manage meetings / client engagement for the events and client programs.
    • External Comms – with clients to schedule / confirm meetings and activities.
  • Reporting:
    • Meeting requests & approvals
    • Post event client meeting reporting
    • Analysis & assessment
  • Onsite:
    • (If required) onsite coordination and management of meeting program or activity
  • Policy and Compliance:
    • Ensuring adherence to Accenture policies relating to client events and programs including GDPR and Gifts & Hospitality (Policy 0150) and management of client review through relevant processes.
General event & marketing support as required for successful Accenture events, on client engagement and audience acquisition, working with Accenture Direct and M&C teams. Travel may be required in this role to provide onsite support.

Qualifications

  • Strong database management & MS Office skills
  • Marketing and events experience required
  • Strong communication skills – oral / written - English Language
  • Excellent attention to detail and focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively with a global team
  • A strong sense of personal accountability
  • Positive approach with a “can do” attitude
  • Good technical know-how and ability to easily navigate new tools and technology
  • Ease in dealing with high level clients & stakeholders
  • Flexible and dependable
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Accenture's organization and offerings
  • Bachelor's degree or related job experience
